Every now and then, I used to think back.... before 2020, life was very normal for us... and then in a matter of days, our lifestyle have change so drastically. How can we play a part in the midst of this pandemic? Stay home, stay home and stay home... for us retirees, this can be possible, however, for those who are bread winners, it is quite an impossible task. Anyway, I wish all of us continue to be optimistic and strong, stay positive and pray....
Not sure why I am 'talking' about this today.... just came to my thoughts and I pen it down.... for future reading....
Back to my food post, I ordered two buns from Bakesville Bakery....
Rolled oats bun with tuna fillings....
They were still warm and soft upon arrival...
Looks kind of plain, right?
But not so after adding Avocado in....
So nice and yammy!
Yes.... and very filling too!
Ordered this too...
Egg Mayo Bun...
Actually quite big in size...
Ordered through Grab, costing RM20...
My buns for one day!
I am glad you talked about this. Because I am always interested in how the virus is there, and how you are doing. I sure hope it will not get as bad as India!! I am so glad you are staying safe!!
ReplyDeleteI share your concerns too. In Selangor the cases are so high and chances of becoming a close contact is also high. Now at the mall, we have to show the guard our Mysejahtera status before they let us in. Your buns look good lah. I love this type of food.
ReplyDeleteI worry just as much as you over this no ending pandemic. I would wish that India would accept help from China. Their ego and refusal is killing lives daily.
ReplyDeleteI love that bread loaves with rolled oats. I am still trying to like Avocado. My wife loves to drink the Avocado Milk and eeeewwww!!! LOLOL
I don't think things will ever be the same again, definitely not going to be like how it was before. I only hope for the numbers to drop and we can get on with our lives the "new normal" way - masks, physical distancing, sanitise, sanitise and sanitise and washing our hands regularly. We will just have to get used to it, no choice.
ReplyDeleteBoth buns looked yummy especially the egg mayo bun. Yum yum. I could skip a meal and have buns or sandwiches some day.
ReplyDeletePraying for the safety of frontliners who have to do their jobs. We just do our part to wear our masks at all times and stay home. Love that you added avocado to your tuna bun. So tasty!
ReplyDeleteBeen quite some time since I last had egg mayo sandwich, yums!
ReplyDeleteDine in will not be allowed starting from tomorrow, 16 May (Sunday) as community cases are more than imported cases.
