New College, New Life

Tomorrow my son will be leaving home to start his college in Penang...
Another phase of life for him being alone in his own world, I hope he will be able to settle down fast and comfortably... seeing his hostel room and comparing to his present room now, I am sure he will miss a lot of things over here in IPOH.... (or maybe he will not after reading the following)

Me and My Girl depend on him quite a lot.... in fact a whole lot!

With him around, he does all these.... mopping the floor, cleaning the toilets, scrubbing the porch, fetching my girl from school, sending her to tuition classes at night.....and the list goes on and on..... believe or not?

(my son not bad huh? Due to the laziness of the mother, he is sort of being "tortured" to do all these chores? ..... *sly grin*)

Now if he reads this, I bet he wants to stay away from home, man... hahahaha... at least no more household chores and just concentrate on his studies and during his free time, he can browse at the girls at this college, kan??

Anyway, son... just concentrate on your studies, do your best ...
(think of the expenses too, will u?)

As for me, starting from tomorrow, just thinking of the housework makes me wanna groan... groan.... aiye.....so leceh....

I'M Gonna Miss Him Lots!

  6. With the "training" you gave him at home, he will probably be more prepared to live with discipline on his own (i.e. not live sloppily)than some other youngsters. :)

Well, Claire - I've to agree with others that you have a very helpful son and by staying on his own, he would be the "perfect" person any woman would want to have for a husband as he'd have to learn to cook, wash & iron his own clothes. However, don't spoil him too much. Let him make his own decisions and learn from his mistakes. If he overspends his monthly allowance, too bad. ...heheh... sometimes by being "cruel", we actually love them.
