Mooncakes Gift From Someone Special..

When Andy came back from his two weeks holiday, he must have enjoyed himself very much. He said he gained one inch around his waist, well, not surprising to me, all he did was sleep, eat and go kai-kai (jolly jolly with his frens and one special fren, so he mentioned)

One day he came back from his jolly walk and gave me a very nice bag printed "Foh San." Inside the Foo San bag was a box... (fyi, Foo San is a well known restaurant in IPOH selling dim sum and as mooncake festival is drawing near, it sells expensive mooncakes as well.)

Andy said, "Mi, this is for u...er... my fren bought this for u... "
I was a bit shock-ked-ded, "wah... fren bought?... girlfren ah?" He smiled ...
(apa lagi, mestilah gf, which boy fren of his will buy for the mother, right... tor lei mun)

"Then say thank Q to your fren, huh.... so expensive also buy ... not working yet, got money or not..." etc etc... (this mother here very naggy... cham hei... but inside felt very happy already actually...which mother wouldn't... first time in history received gift from son's fren fren wor)

Ok, cut the crap.. see the rest...

Foh San.. box

inside the box, laid the treasures..

one of the treasure mooncakes..

one with the egg yolk
long time no eat...

one just lotus plus kuaci

Ok, thank Q once again, Andy's fren...
(psstt... did Andy buy for your mother too??)

  39. CY, dont frighten me la.. not yet la.. 10 stripes, not even one got striked yet...

  40. A friend's dad commented one mooncake on an average costs RM10.00 and the norm cut into four slices so each miserable slice costs RM2.50 almost the cost of one lunch (simple economy rice). Maybe he could cut it into 8 instead of 4 then, so as not to feel the 'pinch'.

    ReplyDelete
  41. Cheah: he is absolutely right! that is why i feel heavyhearted to buy... it is definitely not worth it... i wonder why they increase the price like crazy!
