Hard Rock Hotel, Penang

All for the love friendship of Merryn, here are some of the pictures of Hard Rock Hotel, Penang. These pictures were taken when I went there to Look See, Look See and to Snap. It was almost evening when we reached there, just in time to capture the awesome sunset.

I was told that this Hard Rock Hotel was formally Casuarina Hotel, I stayed there before, five years ago, if I am not mistaken. Now it was so changed, so beautiful and classy.. The evening I went to visit, the staff told me that it was going to be officiate the next day. It was not opened to public yet, but only for the staff and their families....everyone seemed to be having a splashing time...

(yours truly here was really envious then.. she can only imagine.. the song Casablanca was in the air...... )

from the front...

the entrance.. ceiling ...

to the Hard Rock Cafe...

taken from the seaside...

breathtaking...

relaxing..

resting....

basking ....

at the seaside...
walking hand in hand...

under the tropical trees...
listening to the sound of the waves....

OK! OK!!! STOP DREAMING! GET BACK TO WORK!!!
(does this sound familiar?)

  9. Tekkaus: the hotel was not opened to public yet ... the day i went there, the hotel was not even officially opened, only the staff and members of the family were allowed to stay there.. thus the quietness .. i guess it was dinner time for all! I was just a passerby to look see into the new hotel... by now it should be in full buzz..

  34. Claire can help out with my maths a bit, [did not listen to my late mom warned me not to eat too much fish eggs said bad for maths guess she's right]. Travel & tour industry involves hotel, food, air flight etc. Flight now is dirt cheap like paying only 30-50% of the normal airfare. Hotels those days the most popular ones like Rasa Sayang or Golden Sands charged RM100 plus. Now beach hotels are going at half a thousand +400%..but air fares are slashed -50% and best part oil price those days at U$25pb now U$70pb. So how???

    ReplyDelete
  35. Barb: as Merryn said, fully booked during weekends.. so try the weekdays and see.. ashley sure will love it!

Merryn: so tonite onwards, think of Royalty only, no more Rock! hahaha....

Cheah: *very sweaty forehead*.. lets make it simple, 2 words... FORGET IT! (dont like to utilize my brains on economics nowadays..LOL... ) but one thing though..life is precious, do enjoy while we can.. :)
