Hongkong Travelers Tragedy In Philippines

I was very blur..... as I said, I never read papers much these days, all I turn to is Sports, Badminton, Sports, Badminton on the World Cup in Paris.

Little did I know that there was such a tragedy happened in Philippines... I came to know of this tragedy through my colleague Lynn.... Actually we do not know how true and accurate the media is.. all we heard is one side of the story... ok, I am not going to talk about who is right or wrong...

After watching some of the Youtube clips, it was indeed a very and extremely horrifying experience that can never be forgotten especially by those poor passengers in the bus. I feel so sorry and sad for the victims and their loved ones especially one Mrs. Leong whose husband, 2 daughters 14 and 21 died in the bus and her son in critical condition. A family of 5 ... going for a vacation together... ended up in a tragedy.. who would have thought this would happen......

Whoever is in the wrong, will never bring back lives of those who perished in this tragedy.... My condolence to the families of the victims...

  3. this is probably a one-off tragedy since the man acted alone.

the immediate reaction is to avoid travelling there, which means this is probably the BEST time for the best deals!!

  8. Agree with you 100%. Such things can happen anytime, anywhere...even right outside our doorsteps. If something is not right, then something should be done to rectify that... Not right to condemn the whole country and all its people.

  11. This is indeed a very sad event. But tragedies happen not only in the Philippines but all over the world. This is an isolated case and yet, countries who do not really know the Philippines judge and look at the Philippines as a monster country that noone should visit it anymore.

Condolences to the victims. I hope they rest in peace.

Anyway, you've asked for my email: maryannemax@yahoo.com is my email.

    Have a pretty day.

  12. Condolence to the family.

Last night some one created a 'scene' inside the bas (cartoon) and the news scene (which almost everyone in the world watched).

They posted it in FB..the inside 'scene' was like what had happened scenario.

  14. If this is the fact then it is extremely sad incident. It is true that media plays an important role in news coverage but sometime they publish idiotic news.
