Cendol Mooncake

Thanks to Chris for her fabulous mooncakes, not the typical type of mooncake with lotus and whatever but these are dessert mooncakes... Fernie loves these... so far, we have eaten one out of four, she told me to save some for Andy who will be home for the Raya holidays....

    'Hua', 'Yue' 'Hao'... something... lol... do I get that right?

    Must have meant Good flower moon.... something! Hahahahahhaha!

  18. Claire... yea... I'm sure... I can recognize the characters... lol... but the last character I'm not sure, cannot see the stroke... cannot read. LOL... hahaha... I can read some Chinese... not enough to do my teachers proud, though... same goes with Korean and Japanese... belajar separuh jalan only. =S Tarak graduate. LOLOL! L-lesen...

    I think... the wordings on the mooncake... should literally means Good Flower Mooncake? You can ask around... what the words are... LOL... but i can say they will tell u the characters are 'Hua', 'Yue', 'Hao'... and the unknown character. LMAO.

  28. the words read "Yue Yuan Hua Hao", from right top to bottom, then from left top to bottom. haha...means full moon and blooming flowers, basically just to describe the scenery during mooncake festival. hehe...so special one the mooncake, where can we buy it? haha...

  30. Place a tablespoon of the cendol filling in the center of the disc. Fold the edges over the filling and seal it well. Roll it into a ball.
    Lightly dust a mooncake mold with flour and press the filled ball into the mold to shape it. Gently remove it from the mold.
