Scanner Makes Work Easier

Technology has really improved a lot since my younger days and now thirty years later.  During the time when I just started working and that was thirty years ago, I didn't like going shopping especially when there were big sales going on.  All the time wasted not on the shopping but on the queuing up when it comes to payment.  They didn't have these laser barcode scanner those days, unlike now, the cashiers' tasks are made easier.  They do not have to "punch" in numbers anymore, with a scanner, payment is being done very swiftly and accurately.
