If I could, I Would...

My girl is back!  And she is getting slimmer and slimmer... Really kind of worrying.... As parents or should I say, as a mother, I like to see my kids fleshy and bubbly...

This time she came back complaining about no appetite... in other words, "cheong foong"... (wind in stomach)  Went to the pharmacy to get this mortilium for her and heard a remark from the pharmacist saying that many people were buying this mortilium these days....

(Mortilium is for treating nausea, full bloated stomach, to relieve bletchness....)

Well, I guess we ate a bit too much during the festive season...fried stuff, oily dishes..etc..etc....

Back to my girl's non appetite, I told her to take the mortilium after food... well, I was wrong!  It should be BEFORE food.... no wonder it was not working on her after taking twice!  Sorry, Girl... I should have asked the pharmacist...
No wonder you didn't have appetite...
All you want was the bun...
AND
Mom here had to end up eating all these....
If I could, I would like to take your place...
And you in mine....
at least then I know you would be eating well then...

  1. I think she gastric la due to stress like me. Motilium just to reduce wind only. Try dopedone better for wind and famortine for gastric acid. Best is to see doc.

  2. No worries! My girl came back from Sg Petani looking like a Somalian refugee no matter how hard we tried to fatten her while she was home. Yup! Stress, late nights/mornings, no proper food available, nobody to make sure they eat regularly etc...etc...etc... Never mind, she will survive - mine did!

  6. Same goes to my son. Skinny like a living skeleton. Haiz....stress from studies and not eating at the right time. So whenever he comes back, I will cook all his favourite dishes, trying to fatten him up.
