My Preference Is Truly "C"

East meets west or should I say Western and Asian food, which do you prefer?

No need to ask me, I am 100% on Asian food...but of course once awhile I still take pastries and burgers.... but if you put me in a western world, I will not gain but lose weight very fast... :)  Very sad... my family used to laugh at me saying that if I were to stay in a western country with no chinese food, my life would be very difficult.... That's me...

So I think I better get adjusted to eating burgers, chicken pies such as this...
Chicken Pie taken at The OZ, Ipoh...
Chicken Burger... I tried half of this and that...
I cannot finish the whole portion actually.. too filling...
But give me a bowl of Fish Head Noodles with salted vegetables,
it will be a different story... I can stomach all... hahhaa...
As for desserts, I ordered these...
Black sesame and tapioca"kueh"
Forgot the name of the shop but
it is just directly behind Tuck Kee Restaurant in Pasir Pinji...
If not mistaken the shop is called Di Xia Fang...
Desserts were aplenty there...
I must come by again one fine morning...

  1. Well, I have not tried many other cuisines. We have lots of Chinese and Italian here, some German. BUT I do not think that these foreign restaurants cook actually real food of the other countries, I think they Americanize it! Not like going to the actual country to eat!

  2. i actually don't care what type of food that is, as long as the food itself is delicious!! telling yourself that your prefer this and that, means you already have some prejudice and you definitely would not enjoy them.. agree?? :)

  10. At one time was so crazy over the pastries at one French cafe with initial 'D' but now hardly go anymore. Dunno the reason why, maybe at that time it was a craze in Penang or could be convenience.

  16. I wasn't eating any Asian food for 23 days when i was having my roadtrip in Europe. Maybe this is due to i like western food since young. So, I have no problem to survive without Asian Food for months.
