My office is sending a "contingent" of players to Seremban next week.... ladies are not aplenty here in my office... I mean not many ladies in my office like to play badminton, in fact, only a small fraction likes to play and only a few who can play. I am NOT one of the "terrific" ones but I think I can still be a sparring partner and that is what I am doing now for these two weeks.
For our training, we got to go to the Badminton Academy hall in Chemor, quite a distance away from my house but no choice, this is official and we got to sacrifice our own petrol... LOL...
The large poster at the hall kind of "motivated" me... hahahaa....
We even have a coach to teach us how to serve properly....
Not only one... but two coaches... hahahaa...
We are very "terror" one... we need double coach!
Two fingers mean two hours of training and sparring...
By the end of the day, my body will shout... "OUCH! OUCH!!"
Nothing like those days anymore...
Bones are not so "obedient" as before...
Need to go for a good Thai massage this week...
How nice if the office can sponsor that...
hahahaa.....
Oh, reminds me how long i haven't been playing the game, but no kaki la :(
ReplyDeleteThumbs Up!!!..at least you make an effort. Last time in school I used to play and I quite like it but not now. Sure now can hear the cracking bones sound.
ReplyDeleteSo you'll be going to Seremban next week. Have fun!!!
ReplyDeleteGood luck...
ReplyDeletePractice brings perfection, though its painful :)
hahaha, sure ouch-here and ouch-there after such a long break lah.. ouch for two more days and train for two more days, and i am sure all your ouch-es will go away, but comes the Dato LCW spirit inside you~~ :p
ReplyDeleteKen: penang wor... Lee chong wei territory no kaki? :)
ReplyDeleteIrene: that is what happening to me now... Hahhaaa
Stp: no, i wont be going....
ReplyDeleteSk: u are absolutely right! Hahhaa.
Good that you are willing to be a sparring partner but not join the competition. Your office is lucky to have a dedicated person like you.
ReplyDeleteWhen is the big tournament? How many practice sessions? So exciting! I think you may need some aspirin...
ReplyDeletemun: hahaha... I feel guilty reading that..,
ReplyDeleteginny: oh no, no pain killer.. i let the aches go off by themselves.. :)
Company should sponsor petrol, lol...
ReplyDeletewow, that's good. I don't mind being one too..
