Birthday Dinner At Weng Kee

Birthday Boy suggested Weng Kee for dinner and his request was met with approval from his sister... Both of them like a certain dish in this restaurant. It was raining the whole day on Friday night and that did not deter the crowd from coming in after 7pm.  Patrons like to call up for reservation but I don't do that normally.  I prefer to go there earlier and for that reason, we can easily get a table...
For starters and appetizer, Andy ordered their Egg Custard....
I prefer mine after the meal...
Mom is a bit camera shy....
Dishes we ordered...
Steamed yam with dried shrimps but minus the lard this time...
The taste was somehow different already....
Some leafy greens with lots of garlic....
Another greens..... long beans with eggplants....
Crispy Fried Buttered Fish....
Kapitan Chicken which came in very much later...
But then our rice was almost finished.....

That was our dinner in Weng Kee...
The bill came to RM102.90...
