Sabay Thai Food is owned by a Malaysian man with a Thai wife called Sugittra. She is the Thai Chef behind the scene....
The banner in their shop....
See the first dish on the menu?
Go for that, you will not regret! hahaaha....
For my dinner, I ordered only two dishes because there were only two of us...
This is Thai Fried Eggs.....
Fried eggs with Thai Vegetables... that is what I used to call....
And this is the one dish not to be missed...
It is appetizing with lots of lemongrass, lengkuas and ginger...
Steamed with big onions and tomatoes... the soup is just so "drink-able"...
A big slab of fish... I know the price is not cheap....
But it simply worth it.....
This is a more healthy dish, right??
Oh, I ordered a Giant Dragon Ice Blend Fruit drink as well...
Yes, just two dishes but they are more than enough for three people actually...
And I estimated that the bill would be around RM50 plus drinks...
True enough.. the bill came to RM54...
I think it is worth it considering that they came out in big portions...
I would certainly come back for more different types of dishes!
It all looks so good! I have never had Thai, but it is very popular around here with many restaurants.
ReplyDeleteYes, Thai food can be very nice if you can take a bit of spicyness...
DeleteI never liked Cha Om, maybe i have never tried a good one. Those that are available here tend to be rather oily :(
ReplyDeleteWhat is Cha Om? Eggs? :)
DeleteYea the fried omelette with Cha Om vegetables
DeleteI love Thai!!! Thank goodness I just came back from a really heavy Italian lunch so I am not drooling. Time for a nap now... Hehehehehehe!
ReplyDeleteThank goodness you did.. otherwise you will be eating tomyam tonight.. :)
DeleteThat huge slab of steamed fish looks great. Honestly speaking, am not a fan of Thai food but for a change will have it provided not too spicy & hot, sourish still ok.
ReplyDeleteIt is not so spicy but sourish, yes.. cos of the lemon and lemongrass fragrance...
DeleteThe fish looks absolutely delicious but I wouldnot dare to eat those big onions. Did you eat the big onion?
ReplyDeleteYes, I ate them cos they are rather sweet... and still crunchy too...
DeleteI remember asking you before what is thai vegetables but now I cannot remember your answer. Is it thai basil?
ReplyDeleteI am not sure, frankly speaking... I also want to know the name... but it certainly blends in well with the eggs...
DeleteThat is good enough for 3 persons. Love that steamed fish.
ReplyDeleteHe gave me a few choices of fish but I chose this cos less bones...
DeleteBring me along the next round you go, kakaka....
ReplyDeleteSure, sure, Sharon!!
