My Gross Post (Not For The Weak Hearted)

In my previous post, I blogged about eating mangosteens...In this post I will blog about the outcome of eating too much mangosteens... hahahaa...

I think I took around 10 mangosteens or a bit more .. not sure exactly how much I took and after taking that amount and 2 pieces of agar agar, I began to feel a bit "uneasy"... Uneasy in terms of headache and a bit of giddiness.  Then I prepared a hot drink of oats to drink... and that was it...

After work, I quickly went for an early dinner... took a big bowl of noodles and a glass of fresh soursop... During the evening, my shoulders felt like very "heavy".... and when I pressed them, I burped... Chinese says "Wind" (foong)

To release the "wind" from the body, my sister is very "lar sau one" (expert)... she used the old traditional way of releasing the "extra wind" by using a ceremic spoon and "wind ointment" (minyak angin) ... On and On, she "scraped" and "scraped" on my back starting with the neck and shoulders....
She exclaimed after a few strokes on my left shoulder...
'JUST LOOK AT THIS!  TERRIBLE WIND WITHIN YOU!"
My right shoulder was bad too but not as bad as the left...
No, I did not feel any pain at all...
Instead it was a BIG relief...
My headache was gone after the "scraping" and many more BURPS!
It works!
Believe it or not.....

Moral of the story:
Mangosteens cannot be taken a lot at one time..
Best taken after a bout of Durians!

  5. Not gross at all. with your sister around you don't have to worry about too much wind!

  6. Alamak, that shows how heaty your body is. Maybe due to eating too much durian and the crazy hot weather. You should have drunk some salt water after each durian session.
