Among durians, he also sells mangosteens and duku langsat..
The fruits are now in season...
My boys patiently awaiting for Uncle to choose the durians...
Uncle is now performing his task....
While Andy is looking on.....
Uncle asked him nice or not each time he opens one...
Soon all are opened and ready to be packed...
We bought 4 for RM37.... cheap!
Before my boys left Ipoh, a homecooked meal was prepared ....
This is their special request dish....

ReplyDeleteYes, you are absolutely right, Irene.. I guess as parents, we face that for most of us.. .
DeleteBet that was the best meal they had when they were home. Nothing can ever beat mum's cooking, that's the bottomline. Back to missing them again, eh? At least I get to see my girl once a week, not too bad.

ReplyDeleteOh dear, my kids read this may think I don't love them.. sigh... No home cooked food means no love for them.. I really must learn how to cook from now on... *Jia You!*

ReplyDeleteKen, seasonal fruits... so must makan while it last...
DeleteWhat a sweet mama! I wanted to cry la on seeing how nice of you to feed the boys delicious homecooked food and durians! I miss those days my mum did the same but now she is 'almost' bedridden. I feed her now with the best food she likes every weekend.
