Third Day CNY In Sg Buloh

I had never traveled out of town before during CNY but this year is quite different. This is the first year that my mom is not around to celebrate CNY with the family. Without her during this festive time, the feeling is just not the same anymore. Something is still missing and it looks like we siblings have to fend to our own programs and plans. It will take time to get used not having her during festive seasons from now on.

For the first time in history this year, we did something different.  We decided to go to KL to visit my sibling and together with my sister, we loaded all our "goodies" and stuffed our cars with a bit of everything, so much so... my car was full to the brim!
The goodies and the frozen food were "seated" in the middle....
Even the "Hushie" need to stand in the middle with our favourite snacks beneath his bottom!
Thank goodness Hushie does not "f**t"  hahahaaa...
And off we went to Sg. Buloh...
A two hours drive...
A bonding time in the kitchen....
"Slaughtering"....
Stewed Duck!
Next came the yellow skin meat....
Woo Soe Kai....
My SIL's specialty...
Tom Yam Spaghetti!
Someone is really interested!
This is our favourites!
Ju Hoo Char... wrapped with lettuce...
A Sitiawan Dish....
So appetizing that it was finished up very fast!
And lastly and not least....
Seafood varieties topped with abalones....
 As usual....
 Soon it is "walloping time!"
Free style....
