Anyway, all were made right when I approached the check in counter and made an enquiry... and he told us that it was not the same.. though by the same management but different hotel altogether...the staff there was so kind and friendly, he even "offered" us a bell boy to take all our luggage and led us to the right hotel at The Gardens. So nice of the bell boy too, leading us all the way through the Mid Valley shopping mall with our luggage all in the trolley... Well, "sik joe la" after that.... hahahaa...
My son was caught in the jam and he came thirty minutes after we did... it was lunch time, what else to expect in the city center?
And finally.... our hotel room!
The welcoming beds....
And the vast restroom....
Then we proceed to Madam Kwan for our late lunch...
It was almost 4pm then!!
Both of us could finished them all.... !
As for dinner at 9pm, we had a "Lighter Meal" at Nyonya Colors...
And we called it a night after that...
Very late lunch but a delightful one. Used to stay in the hotel next to Mid-Valley twice. Convenient and near to shopping mall.
ReplyDeleteConvenient for us ladies, right!!
DeleteNice nyonya dishes. Eyeing at that bowl of ais kacang. I can gulp down the whole bowl especially during this hot weather.
ReplyDeleteIndeed very creamy cendol there!

ReplyDeleteYou went to the 4-star one, instead of the 5-star that you booked?
Actually I am not the one who did the booking.. :)
DeleteYour hotel room is so nice. I did not even know that the hotel at Gardens is called St Giles. Why only two of you ate at Madam Kwan. Your daughter did not eat with you and your son?

Whenever my foreign guests asked me to recommend a hotel, I would always tell them Mid Valley!!
