Tagged Along To Mr. BBQ, Taiping

I FOLLOWED THE SAIL... Yes, I was blessed with another dinner when Aaron was home for a short week stay.  Both of us were driven to Taiping for a scrumptious dinner with the Goh's family.   Oh correction, I guess I invited myself to the dinner at the last minute..... hahhaahaa... All I thought was a dinner in Taiping by the family and that was it.  Didn't know that one family from Taiping played host to the dinner!  So sorry to "gate-crushed" to your dinner, my friends.....

The dinner was held at Mr. BBQ Restaurant along Jalan Maharajalela, the road leading to the Lake Gardens, Taiping.  It was my second time to this restaurant and I noticed it has been renovated since.. The food was indeed special in their own way....
Steamed fish....

Four different greens....
Smooth Silky Beancurd in pumpkin sauce....
More leafy young greens... I do welcome that....
Braised duck in special sauce....
And their special dish is Curry Pork Ribs in Roasted Giant Bun....
One can opt for curry chicken I suppose...
I would love to try that the next time...
Oh, I didn't ask for the price cos it was paid by this wonderful family from Taiping...

Thank you so much for "having" me to tag along....
I was indeed blessed with a scrumptious dinner...
Hope we meet again some day in Ipoh!

  3. Nice dinner. Love all the dishes. My first time having chicken curry (not pork ribs) in the giant bun is in Port Dickson. You are truly blessed to be surrounded with beautiful & kind friends.

  8. Yes BBQ restaurant renovated. Food is still nice to eat.
Hmm from the photo, I saw one familiar face. The one beside Aaron from the second photo. I think we used to attend the same Yoga or gym before.
