The Scenery At Copthorn Orchid And Queensbay Mall Activities

BOOKING AT THE LAST MINUTE... we were undecided which hotel to stay, all the rates have gone up since the last time we went.  My budget is below RM200 and through Agoda, we settled for Copthorn Orchid Hotel at Tanjung Bungah.  I made a mistake, I thought it was the hotel which my girl and I stayed last year, I quite liked that hotel, it is called Flamingo... and I mixed up with this Copthorn, I thought it was Flamingo... Blunder me..

Only when we reached the hotel, I realized it was not the same... no choice, already paid so have to stay... Compared to the two hotels, I still prefer the Flamingo, still couldn't understand why I made the mistake.  Blame it on jet lag... LOL... Anyway, the rates for Copthorn is RM164 per night excluding taxes and breakfast was not included... never mind, Penang has lots to offer from morning till night!
Seaside scenery from the swimming pool... not from my room, unfortunately...
There is a private beach here....
And a bungalow along the beach... just behind where I am standing....
As usual, we did what the ladies normally do...
Go to all the malls in Penang...
And me... as a "vendor"
Raya Goodies!
With a beautiful Balinese lady...
And that was what we did during this festive season....
No crowd so we managed to take as many pictures as we like...
Ladies... hmmmm......

  7. The Balinese lady is a real person or wax figure? Her pose and expression are the same in your two photos.
