Each morning as usual, we wake up and ask each other... "Where and what to eat" question. For the first few days we were here, we went out with my in-laws for our brunch. One morning, they took us to a new place called Right Place, Jalan Simbang in Perling. Cafe sort of style, cooling and nice ambiance. As for the food, I opted for Ban Mee which is hand-pinched type which comes in odd shapes and flattened.
My Ban Mee ... RM7.90
The flat "handpinched" flour has a soft and smooth texture...
Comes with spinach, fish balls and beancurd fish paste....
The Ikan Bilis/anchoivies was hardly noticeable...
Overall, nice enough for me...
My girl ordered soupy kolo noodles with egg and sausage.... RM6.90
She said it was bland...
Perhaps kolo noodles goes well with the dry version and not the soupy type...
HK fried noodles... RM8.90
With so much ingredients, it sure taste good!
This is Tauhoo Rojak... as a sidekick... RM8.90
They called these Fish Sticks and they cost RM3.50...
For drinks, we ordered Lemon Wheat Grass and 3 Layer Tea...
For the four of us, the whole meal came to astounding price of RM56.60
Yes, don't compare to Ipoh, my friends...
LOL...
That special kolo mee sure special with the ingredients in it.
ReplyDeleteI like the fish sticks.

DeleteOh my! Things sure don't come cheap in JB, eh?
ReplyDeletehahaha.. cannot compare... just eat and enjoy..
Deletehahaha.. just have to enjoy eating...
DeleteAnd also, don't compare the exchange rate, lol...
ReplyDeleteRight.. right.. LOL..
DeleteRight Place is such a funny name for a shop...lol! the fried noodles really tempting...
ReplyDeleteIndeed they are...
DeleteThe rojak looks good. You are spending your time well between your two homes.
ReplyDeleteThat is why I retire.. :)
DeleteI think the most important thing is spending time with your loved ones. Sometimes that's more important than the food :)
ReplyDeleteAgree completely.. food is secondary but then the meals bring us together.. :)
DeleteLooks good, hope you had a great time over there.
ReplyDeleteThank you, I hope so...
DeleteAnd I thought JB is cheap
ReplyDeleteWho said? hahahaa..
DeleteI think the noodles and eggs look the tastiest...too bad it was so bland!
ReplyDeleteNot suitable for her buds..
DeleteI like this catchy name of the restaurant. The price is very reasonable since I have to compare to KL prices.
