A Visit To Imperial War Museum, London

TUBE RIDE TO LONDON took almost an hour, I slept during the whole journey and only woke up when we reached the station, Elephant & Castle.... wevwalked a bit to our destination, that is the War Imperial.  The big man is interested in all the museums related to war and we are just observers/followers.  Entrance is free, that is a good thing... and we spent nearly two hours in the museum, yes, only a short time.  He was quite disappointed, not sure why... but the one who is more interested in knowing more turned out to be Aaron.  We ended up waiting for him to come down... he spent quire some time on third level watching the videos of the holocaust that happened during the world wars... and it was kind of depressing, he said...
Took the name of this place in case I forgot where we went....
(It helps especially when I am going to write the posts long after... )
As we walked to War Imperial Museum...
And here it is....
Closer angle...
Two giant cannons...
Real giant alright...
In front the building we are going to enter...
Upon entering, this is what we saw....
The war planes....
Vehicles used...
Real cars used during war times...
Upper level looking down...
And a bit of this and that....
Really not into these museums...
It is kind of depressing...
That is why I did not survey all the three levels...
Maybe I was too tired to, anyway...

  1. I am curious to know why your bil is disappointed with this war museum.

  2. Quite honestly, I would be bored at this museum since I am not into war and war machines. But to those who have interest, this would be a place that they should visit.

  3. The building is huge and very pretty. I am not very big on war things. But I do like this doll house, what is it supposed to be?

  4. I like museum but not into wars and I don't like to watch the holocaust. Probably the museum not up to your bil expectation? I much prefer looking at the miniature houses and their interior.
