For the three of us, she practically prepared a feast... LOL... we surely could not finish them all....
Started off with an appetizer....
I went rice-less....
Wouldn't want to fill up the space in my stomach with the carbo...
LOL....
Vietnamese wrap with 4 shrimps and homegrown vegetables from her garden...
I love this dish....
Squash with shrimps, long beans with coconut milk....
Slightly spicy which is good for me....
I ate a lot of the squash...
Taste something like a combination of yam and pumpkin...
How I wish I could fry my fish this way....
My fish always ended up "semi-naked" if not "naked"....
LOL...
And a big bowl of desserts....
Red beans, bananas, sago and coconut milk....
It was not so sweet so I ate quite a lot!
This is a feast to me!
The dinner was about to begin....
Ooopsss... let's have one for the album....
Thank you, D for the scrumptious dinner!!
Till we meet again some day....
What a delicious meal! Love the wrap, the squash dish, fried fish and red bean dessert. That dessert sounds very rich and thick! Something like a thick pekat tong sui.
ReplyDeleteI love that pumpkin masak lemak, looks so delicious! I wonder what fish those are - looks good too...and of course, the Vietnamese rolls. Just bought a whole lot of prawns - I think we can have that one of these days!
ReplyDeleteSo where are you off to next, after Sacramento? That is where your sis stays, right? Going over to your son's place now to start babysitting?
The food is so pretty, and looks very professional, like in a restaraunt.
ReplyDeleteI like such gathering!! Home-cooked is the best, can taste a bit of this and that.
ReplyDeleteI learn to fry fishes so you can say I am skillful when it comes to frying fishes now. Hehe.

ReplyDeleteI love home cooked meals and this one looks great. Love the wraps, prawns and fish. The dessert looks a bit think but I think the banana makes it yummy. I have yet to taste Filipino food.
