It should be the other way round but knowing us, desserts would go to waste after this main meal. So we had desserts and tea before indulging into this scrumptious meal prepared by my daughter-in-law. Because I was still under "jetlag syndrome"... I was excused from helping out. LOL..
Not much utensils were used anyway, we had the meal with baking paper laid on the table. An excellent idea, I would like to say so. LOL..
Forget about Mr. Cholesterol too, at that moment, I just want to dig in to a bit of everything!
Bought 4 giant lobsters for $72 in Costco...
We only used up two...
My DIL baked them instead of steaming...
Yes, fresh and succulent...
Most of the stuff were from Costco...
Not a scone but a mixture of scallops and potatoes besides others...
For four of us, indeed we did not manage to finish them all...
We had Clams Miso soup as well...
Our simplified dinner and definitely a fulfilling one!
My kind of platter. All my favourites. Yum yum
ReplyDeleteShe must be an excellent cook. And those lobsters look so big!!!
ReplyDeleteNo photos of your desserts? Ah, the lobsters look so tasty! I went to Costco in Vancouver before. Huge place.
ReplyDeleteThat looks gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteYour DIL must have a very big oven...that's a lot of food there to bake! ;) I have my eyes on the lobster tail! :D
ReplyDeleteWah! I really like this homemade seafood platter! Best to eat like this at home because can be messy (and very expensive) at the restaurant. Kudos to your DIL for preparing such a majestic meal!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous! I would cast caution to the wind and feast in all those beauties! Yum yum!!!
ReplyDeleteWoah! That clam in miso broth looks so good.
